Here at landscape Gold we are striving to achieve that gold standard in every single project. Founded in 2017, Landscape Gold is a family owned and operated outdoor construction business based in County Down, Northern Ireland.
We specialise in design and install of out door garden rooms. we can build and install patios, steps, walkways, driveways, retaining walls. We can also take care of the soft landscaping install like; planting trees, hedging, flowerbeds and also turfing or seeding lawns.

BBC Gardeners World Live 2019 - Gold Medalist
This is one of my greatest experiences within the landscaping industry. This experience gave me the chance to meet new people and showcase my skills at one of the largest shows in the UK. Some of the people I met included; Carol Klein, Monty Dawn and Joe swift. I gained a place to showcase my skills through a competition called World skills live which took place in Birmingham in 2018. I came away with a bronze medal from the world skills competition which was enough to gain me a place within BBC Gardeners world live, so this time I decided to aim for Gold!
The show garden was designed by David Stevens, who is well known within the show garden industry. Myself along side a fellow team mate from Northern Ireland was given the challenge to build the show garden within five days. The design included a range of tricky angled paving and planting areas.

This is hands down the best experience within the landscaping industry I have completed to date. In May of 2019 I was given the chance to be apart of Mark Gregory's 'Welcome to Yorkshire' show garden team. We were set the task of building a massive canal which replicated a piece of Yorkshires landscape heritage.
The build took a total of 18 days to complete with a large team of skilled trades men and women from across the UK. Most of the materials was reclaimed from Yorkshire which gave the garden the rustic old style look along with the help of some cinematic art work.
This experience allowed me to to get involved with a range of different elements which included; operating machinery, Building, stone masonry, aqua landscaping,
planting etc... I also got the chance to engage with other with other show garden designers along the way.
We ended up coming away with not only a GOLD medal, but additionally the peoples choice award.
World Skills Live 2018 - Bronze Medalist
World Skills live was the first landscaping competition I had ever taken place in. This took place whilst I was studying a Foundation degree in Horticulture at CAFRE's Greenmount campus. The competition was run by the Association of Professional Landscapers.
The competition consisted of two heats and a final. the competition started out with around 70 competitors from across the uk, by the finals there was six of us left competing. The final consisted of, building various landscape features within the allocated plots. We had three days to complete the plots on our own. The works consisted of paving, fencing, decking, planting and lighting.
This competition kick started my journey in the landscaping industry. I gained valuable contacts and was able to showcase my skills at the biggest skills show in the UK.
